A RAR file has a .rar extension and is a compressed archive of
files similar to a Zip file. To open RAR files you must use specific
software that can extract the contents of the archive file to your
hard drive. Microsoft Windows cannot open RAR files by default so you must download and install free archive software before you can extract them. Bitser can open, extract and convert .rar files as well
as other common archive formats Zip, 7-zip, iso, gzip, bzip2, and
tar. Below is a video tutorial showing you how to convert a RAR
file using Bitser's converter. The tutorial is created on Windows
7 but also applies to Windows 10, 8.1, Vista and Windows XP. The video only shows
you how to convert RAR to Zip but the same process can be used to
convert any supported format to Zip, 7-zip or exe. Please note that
you do not need to convert RAR to avi, mp3 or mp4. A RAR file is
just a container that can have any type of file inside it. Files
are placed inside RAR files to reduce their size so that they use
less disk space. You can just extract these files without needing
to convert the entire file. To open this video directly on YouTube
